Look at me and smile . . . please?

I was trying to get a cute picture of all 3 of my children. That proved to be harder than expected.

2 months

Elsie is already two months old. I can’t believe how fast time flies. She is 11 lbs 4 oz. As long as her diaper is changed and she can eat every two hours she is a very happy and content baby. She has started cooing which my kids love. Siesa especially is always trying to get her to laugh.

Utah

We went to Utah for Thanksgiving and as always had a great time. While we were there we ate too much, stayed up too late and laughed a lot.

Most of the Jensen Clan

Siesa and her Cousin Kate. My kids had so much fun with there cousins. Half the time we were in Utah I didn't know where they were because they were off busy playing with there cousins.
We went down town to see Temple Square and to tour the conference center

Elsie's blessing

While in Utah we blessed Elsie. It was wonderful to have most of our family able to be there. Derek gave a beautiful blessing, then we had some grub.

Thats my Siesa

We were cleaning out some stuff and Siesa found a Barbee. It was a gift that a friend brought me from Jamaica. She saw it and wanted to play with it so bad so I thought why not, she can’t break it. Well 10 minutes later this is what she brought me.

I was wrong, Siesa can find a way to break anything. I asked her where the clothing and hair were and she went up stairs and came running back with a fist full of everything proclaiming that it broke. With the help from the glue gun the doll has been restored. No wonder why I still have items safely stored in my cedar chest. It is a good thing I am not attached to the doll.

Happy Halloween

We have been celebrating Halloween all week by making decorations, going to a few parties and preparing for our party. Derek and the kids went to the ward trunk or treat and had a great time. Jensen was the firefighter, Siesa the firefighter dog and Derek was the fire. Elise was going to be a fire hydrant but we ended up not going.

Tonight we had a party. We played a few games and then had pumpkin pie that we made from a pumpkin, not the can. It was very, very good. For dinner we had Worms ((green spaghetti noodles, blood (spaghetti sauce) brain pieces (cauliflower) and jello pumpkins. Siesa was a little confused why we were calling it by the wrong name but Jensen was all into it. He was informing us all the it was not really worms, blood or brain because as he said "how would we really get brains from someone's head?"

Every time we dressed up, Siesa and Jensen wanted to wear different costumes, silly kids. Good thing I have numerous costumes to choose from. Tonight Jensen was thinking about different Halloween costumes and was saying something about skeletons. He said that if he saw a skeleton he would be able to see all the bones and joints. Then he said, "Next year I want to be a joint for Halloween." Derek told him that Mommy would really have to work hard on that one.
