Birthday shirt

That’s right we are expecting #3. I am 4 months along (I can’t remember how many weeks, honestly I had a hard time remembering the first time around so now I don’t even try) I am due October 5th. A few weeks ago when the kids and Derek went shopping for a birthday gift He asked the kids what they should get me. Siesa said
‘Pretty shirt” She was walking all around the store saying "Mommy pretty shirt” so one of my gifts was this shirt, good thing they got a maternity one. I have been feeling much better the last few weeks and life is starting to get back to being some what normal. For the first few months I was sick and so really didn’t do anything that wasn’t absolutely necessary so basically I laid on the couch unless my kids needed me. That is the real reason that I have not been blogging much these days. I am doing much better and we are very excited to have another baby.

Watching Conference - Need I say more?

March 12th

Siesa turned 2. When she got up in the morning and I told her it was her birthday she was excited because she knew what that meant. We walked down stairs she pointed to her presents and said “Siesa’s presents” over and over pointing to all her gifts. Then she quite literally hugged her cake and said “my cake” and promptly took a lick. By the time we ate the cake it had a lot of finger prints in it. I think she was excited that it was hers since the day before Jensen guarded his cake and gifts so much.

Enjoying her new toys

Both the kids moved into a bigger beds. Jensen into a twin and Siesa in the toddler bed. We gave them new sheets and duvet covers for there birthdays (it is a good thing grandma and grandpa gave them toys since we gave such boring things) They both loved the new beds and so far have each only fallen out once.

March 11th

Jensen turned 4. I can’t believe it I have a four year old. He had a great birthday; he has been excited about it for months. We had a pizza party, cake and ice cream, gifts, we went to the park, and the day before we went to the Aquarium. It was a good day for him.

He had requested a dinosaur cake but I told him that he didn’t get to decide what his cake looked like. When he saw his cake he was very excited that it was a garbage truck and especially that it was chocolate
